Overview

PAXG is an ERC-20 token in which each token represents one fine troy ounce of allocated gold held in London Good Delivery bars. The token is issued by Paxos Trust Company, which converted from a NYDFS-chartered limited purpose trust to an OCC-supervised national trust in December 2025. Holders can check the serial numbers of the bars allocated to their on-chain address and can redeem through Paxos for gold or US dollars.
